1966 Hodaka Ace 100

Here is a bike I restored a few years back, It came to me in pretty good shape but like everything I end up touching I just staart with a little replacement part here and a polish there and all of a sudden the sucker is apart and being redone.
These are really neat little bikes, I have always wanted a little Hodaka and my plans were to full fairing this bike out and race it but once I started digging into it the only thing I could get myself to do was to bring it back to its original splendor. I must say after getting to ride it for a few months I absolutely fell in love with it, this bike being so small I really had to bring back my child hood days riding CR125's around, finding the power bands and making damned good use of them, literally to the point this little sucker would hit 80mph down hill with a breeze on yer back - lol

I just threw some cafe bars on it for kicks and had fun with it until some nice fellow from L.A. came up and bought it from me.

New Bars
New Cables
Restored Fuel tank to almost better than new
Re-panted Frame with Hodaka Red
Rebuilt Brakes
New Tires
Restored original Rims to almost new
Rebuilt Top End
Replaced all gaskets
New Spark Plugs
Restored original exhaust
Restored Tool Box
New Rings

This bike ran like a charm and turned out absolutely beautiful I must say so myself, one of my better jobs.
