Alaskan Smoked Porter
Smoked Beer. Known as "rauchbier" in Germany, smoke-flavored beers were virtually unknown in the U.S. until Alaskan Smoked Porter was developed in 1988. The dark, robust body and pronounced smoky flavor of this limited edition beer make it an adventuresome taste experience. Ballast Point Oktoberfest

Deschutes Hop Trip : very limited
This Fresh Hop Pale Ale is all about celebrating the hop harvest in the fall. Fresh picked hops have to be added to the brew immediately and in abundance. Roughly 680 pounds of Crystal hops from Doug Weathers' farm outside Salem, Oregon will be added to each 120 barrel batch in addition to some dry kilned whole flower hops. That adds up to approximately 5.7 pounds of hops per barrel brewed. Another deliciously interesting beer in our Bond Street Series.

With Halloween approaching I will be posting allot of monsters that some of you may not know about, mostly Chinese stuff. I will start with Chinese Vampires (Chiang Shih). They start off as half a person loosing one of their souls, they are much like our zombies, but instead of eating brains they mack on blood, by ripping the head and limbs off to get to it. They are pretty easy to kill but in their later stages they can either grow long white hair and the laws of nature leave them enabling them to fly or become Wolves, much like our wolf men in Western mythology. These stages they become god like, with only lightning and decapitation able to kill them.

1973 BMW R60/5 CUSTOM

1973 BMW R60/5 Custom Job

I started building this bike a year ago with one thing in mind - minimalism.
I didnt want anything extra, much in lines of a race bike but with a twist with the inspiration of a 47' Panhead and some Japper bikes. I wasnt sure if I could pull it off - I knew I could make it, but would it look good...

Engine, year and make, model, modifications:
1973 R60/5 Stock engine, new Mikuni carbs (why do they call Bing carburetors Bing? Because its the sound they make hitting the trash can), air box removed and replaced with K&N's

Frame:
Stock with Por 15 and semi gloss top coat - literally tougher than powder coat.

Fork:
Stock shortened 2"

Chassis mods:
Sub frame shortened and poder coated, reinforced.

Tire/wheel size and style:
Stock / powder coated, new stainless spokes

Electronics:
New Thunderchild Diode board, Dyna III ignition, Brand new Cloth wiring throughout the bike, New Ignition switch -

I left many stock parts, just modded the shit out of them, one thing is for sure, BMW has some pretty nifty stuff that just needs a bit of help to make great. I had a custom Battery tray made from solid billet as well a custom one of a kind tail light. I cut down the handle bar levers and re-shaped them, cut the forks down, rebuilt the wheels, made a custom steering stabilizer, started fresh and re-wired the entire bike to a custom application based off of racing BMW's, Cut the headlight ears down and put a bates headlight can on and replaced the lens with a vintage yellow lamp, Powder Coated almost everything that could be powder coated, Cut down a 30 yr old 2/1 Luftmeister racing exhaust system and place a custom baffle in the muffler, did an antique polish on the engine covers and casted alloy parts that I like to call vintage aviation style and made a custom alloy based seat.

Im sure there is more, just cant remember right now. Bike is available for viewing, dont waste my time, no tire kickers, bring a sixer of Micro beer for wasting my time.

All parts can and will be duplicated for you do it your self kind of people.
